There is a lot to choose from. Most people prefer a stainless steel steel,
double basin, self rimming sink.
Self-rimming
Self rimming stainless steel sinks are the most popular and easiest to
install. The sink rim sits on the countertop and weight is supported by
the countertop.
Under mount
Under mount kitchen sinks are supported by the coutertop. This style is
often used with granite, corian, marble, and man made composite sinks.
Farmhouse sinks
You need the sink before you begin building the cabinet. This sink has
a stylish panel in front. This sink can be built on site out of tile or
you may purchase an under mount model.
Bar / Theatre Sinks
In other words, these sinks are small and are not meant for big jobs.
They are efficient at saving space and getting small jobs done.
